Decided to finally cross Skydiving off the bucket list, and saw this place had deals on Groupon with thousands of past purchases, so I grabbed some other friends, and headed out to Warrenton VA!

We were originally scheduled for 11 AM, but they called me a day before to say they had to reschedule us to another time, and they were helpful and transparent throughout the process and any questions we had. The instructors, Tommy and Randy, are super cool people and definitely helped calm the nerves and ensure that we had a safe jump. They didn't have the larger plane available that day, so our group of 4 had to jump separately in pairs, which isn't a big deal, and the process of getting us harnessed and ready to jump was really quick on a non-busy Sunday, so we were happy about that. There is a slight charge for being over 200 lbs. which I understand, but the optional tandem video and photo additions are quite pricey at $99 for either or $150 for both, though we still had to get the videos for our first experience.

Overall it was a super fun experience, service was good and they were accommodating to our group, and with the Groupon it was a pretty good deal, so definitely would do again!

My coworker (scared of heights) and I went here on a spur-of-the-moment Living Social deal purchase. I definitely see why so many people get such a thrill from skydiving now. I had Dmitriye for my jump instructor. He was thorough, lots of fun, and helped me feel very comfortable and safe with my first time jumping from a plane. I would definitely recommend purchasing the video... It's an experience you will never forget, and will love seeing yourself experience. I just saw the Living Social deal up again today - I may have to purchase it again... :)

This experience is so incredibly life changing in a positive way. I love this business so much for every aspect. Not a thing was wrong. Everything was perfect. We are doing this again. I recommend tipping about 40 to 65 dollars Although they didn't seem to be in it for money. It's been two weeks and the positive influence it has on team building and relationships is powerful in a way that you all must experience. This company is AMAZING!!!!

I discovered DC Skydive via Groupon-having skydived before, I recognized a deal when I saw one-so I booked two vouchers, for my hubby and me.

We were able to easily purchase the voucher, secure the exact date/time we wanted, and it was still a good deal even with the added registration fees. The waiver paperwork was conveniently done online, so the lengthy portion of reading, signing, reading, and signing was all done prior to and didn't ruin the excitement of the actual jump morning by having to do it on-site.

The airport was really out in the middle of nowhere-providing a beautiful open land scenic drop view-

The plane was pretty old school. What are they called, hop planes? It was a delightful first time jump experience for my husband, as he was seated next to the door of the plane-which they kept open on take off, closed mid-way through the flight-then opened two minutes prior to the jump. So he got one heck of an adrenaline rush, as he was just looking out of the plane wide open door.

Our whole experience was little over two hours- we showed up, got harnessed, got a quick training, and got placed on the plane right at our exact scheduled jump time- They have instructional videos running while we waited-to continually remind the steps-

The plane ride to altitude was thrilling-freefall was amazing- and compared to my previous jump, I loved that these tandem instructors did corkscrews and let me hold the parachute straps for a bit to steer the parachute.

Easy landing, nice golf cart ride back to the center, and we were done-

Quoting another reviewer: Lily V who said it perfectly: My only criticism was with respect to the compensation of the instructors. The instructors are only paid $40 per jump, a small percentage of the total skydiving fee, which I find to be concerning given that their income seems unstable. (Jumps can only be done during warm seasons, and they can be canceled at any time due to weather or other circumstances beyond the instructors' control.) The instructors also are classified as "independent contractors," rather than employees, and therefore do not receive healthcare and other benefits. Given their important contributions to the skydiving center and the challenging certification process, they should make high enough wages to comfortably support their families.

My brother and I had great experiences at DC Skydiving Center last week! I was nervous before the jump, but my instructor, Willie, was great at making me feel relaxed and safe. He was very experienced and sweet. My brother also liked his instructor, Yuri, who had been skydiving since 1984, and appreciated that Yuri made jokes to put him at ease. Both of our skydives went smoothly. Additionally, the staff was accommodating and made scheduling easy.

It was my first skydiving experience and it was AWESOME!! I felt secured, safe & the experience went beyond my expectations!! I had so much fun. Can't recommend this place enough if you're looking for the experience of your life.
The instructors were very professional, friendly and helpful. The one I jumped with (IGOR) has jumped over 9000 times!! So don't worry about anything!!

The best part was feeling like "flying " in the sky and not "falling".

Thank you DC skydiving center for making my dream come true.

The experience was priceless and I recommend it to anyone looking for an adventure. Our original time was at 8am but they called and rescheduled for 2pm which wasn't a problem for us but might've for someone on a tight sched. Got the Groupon and paid $120 for the dive, plus $79 for video (student discount) which is not bad at all. Gave it 4/5 stars because as you can see, the airplane was old and a bit broken down. The inside of the plane was peeling from the wall and seemed a bit sketchy. We didn't die tho lol. The skydiving instructors gave us a 5 minute brief which seemed REALLY short. But nevertheless they were professional and made us feel safe.

Overall I am extremely unhappy and frustrated with this company. I went skydiving with my boyfriend and we both purchased the video option. The company lost my video and I never got my video. I had to contact them multiple times to even hear that they lost it. After calling MULTIPLE times to speak to a manager, the company offered me $20 off my next jump as compensation for losing my video. I was video taped so not only do I feel violated but also extremely upset with how the customer service was handled. I wasted my time calling and risked my life to get nothing. I will not be using my $20 off my next jump if anyone wants it.
