Youth Diploma 1 Course Overview

The purpose of the Coerver® Coaching Youth Diploma 1 is to give attendees, whether you are a professional academy coach, junior coach, teacher or parent a greater understanding of how to plan & deliver more effective coaching sessions.

This will be made possible by learning to use the Coerver® Coaching Session Planner which will provide a quick & easy solution for all attendees who would like to construct weekly, monthly or even season long programmes using proven, high quality drills & games from Coerver® Coaching, "The Worlds's Number 1 Soccer Skills Teaching Method".

Youth Diploma 1 Instructor

Scott Wright, Director of Coerver® Coaching England & Wales, is one of the organisations most experienced instructors having worked with players, coaches and clubs from grassroots to professional level in 22 countries since joining in 2005.

Scott has had the privilege of spending the majority of his years with the organisation working closely with Coerver® Coaching Co-founder,
Alf Galustian.

During this time, Scott’s has worked extensively within elite coach & player development and to date has worked with the following:

Gareth Bale, Micah Richards, The Premier League™, The RFEF (Royal Spanish Football Federation), Chelsea FC, Newcastle United FC, Bolton Wanderers FC, Blackpool FC, Leeds United FC, Birmingham City FC, Millwall FC, Sheffield Wednesday FC, Fulham FC, Manchester United FC, Manchester City FC, Liverpool FC, Dinamo Zagreb FC, Videoton FC, FK Vojvodina, Slovan Bratislava FC & Slavia Prague FC.

During the 2013/14 season, Real Madrid CF invited Scott to lecture on their MSc in Talent ID and Coaching course in conjunction with the European University of Madrid. He has returned to lecture every year since, is now a member of faculty and remains the only British instructor to be invited to deliver on the course.

Between 2011 and 2016, Scott worked as specialist technical coach and coach educator at Premier League™ club, Stoke City FC who became the first Coerver® Partner Club at the start of the 2011/12 season”. Since 2007, Scott has also contributed technical training content and advice to the world's leading football publication, FourFourTwo.

We designed the Youth Diploma 1 asking the question, how can we help coaches construct sessions for the week or the whole season?.
