Lush fabrications - crepe sable, tulle and silk organza - recall the dewy softness of rose petals at dawn. Handmade mikado flowers and crystal embellished bows, adorned on classic alencon and chantilly lace gowns. Evoke the first aroma of a fresh flower. Like a spring garden. This collection awakens the senses on every level, transporting the bride into the world of Reem Acra.
Midnight
For Fall 2024, the Reem Acra woman is reimagined amidst an enchanted forest at midnight. Delicate beading and embroidery, featuring leaves, flowers and branches, recalls lush flora beneath a sparkling night sky. Soft, feminine silhouettes evoke an ethereal, fairy-like quality – set against rich, sophisticated hues of berry, emerald, deep teal and burgundy. These fantastical colors are brought to life through luxurious materials – a combination of embroidered tulles, silk crepes, printed organzas, mikados and brocades. The setting is reminiscent of “The Swans of Fifth Avenue” – Slim Keith or Nan Kempner would have dazzled in one of these numbers. The feathers were a final touch, added not only to complement the rich color palette, but also to convey a message of empowerment, confidence, and luxury without interfering with the simplicity of the collection. Wonder and fantasy are at the core of this collection, translating into a rich, dark sensuality within which every woman can find herself.
