Playontv is a media company that creates syndicated web solutions for the finance, media and advertising market. I took the the company from being totally dependent of external consultants within the media and production process to being independent of media consultants. Today, Playontv are showing black figures and have a fully functioning production process for communicating business to business solutions . During my time at Playontv I have directed and media trained top Swedish ceo’s and swedish company’s with very good results. Among them are Svensk Fastighetsförmedling, Junibacken, Skånska Byggvaror, Brummer, Brim, Concordia, Sotkamo Silver, AIK Fotboll, Ginger Oil, Shelton Petrolium, Paynova, to name a few. I also produced more then hundred clips from Melodifestivalen 2012 for Metro.se's video platform.

The production company had some difficulties finalysing projects that had been rejected from SVT. After I teamed up with them and restructured the projects, all five documentaries were aired on SVT. I also did some upgrading of there communication abilities to the web. Over 2 milion people watched the documentaries on SVT.

PRODUCTION: STUMPEN, TEATER PÅ LIV OCH DÖD
This documentary was shoot in Helsingborg, Sweden and followed a group of addicts/old addicts while they were setting up a theatre play. It is a dramatic and capturing story of one man’s struggle to direct a group of addicts on a stage. The director Robert Lillhonga contacted me when they had edited a first version but was stock in the creative workflow. I coached the editor Rikard Kranz and a final version was released at the Gothenburg Film Festival in 2008.

This documentary was shoot in Lysekil in august 2007 and followed the worlds leading match racing competition for women. This years focus was on Malin Millbourn (ranked 14) and her team Santa Maria I teamed up with photographer & editor Iván Blanco and the documentary was aired on the Swedish cable channel TV8.

This project was an adaptation for the screen from the book by the same name by Johanna Nilsson. Johanna was hired by the production company to write an adaptation of her book and had finished a 2nd version when I came in and joined the team. I worked closely together with her and producer Peter Hiltunen for a third and fourth version and made the script more ready for the big screen.

PRODUCTION: HATA GÖTEBORG
This feature film was shoot in Helsingborg, Sweden and follows a group of friends in the swedish summer. months. The gang’s leader (played by Nik Schröder) is a real trouble maker and the rest of the guys more or less just do what he tells them to do until one day.
This is a story about young people and the pear pressure they deal with in everyday life. Finally one man dares to say no the leaders bad influence and it leads to other complications. I got involved in this project when I was working for Sonet Film on another project (När mörkret faller). Peter Possne, CEO at Sonet Film, had given the director Robert Lillhonga some more funds to reshoot some more scenes after seeing the first version in 2006. I met Robert Lillhonga and the editor Rikard Kranz when they sat in Sonet’s office in Stockholm. Peter Possne had seen another version and wasn’t satisfied and gave them a timeframe of two weeks to reedit the film for the better or Sonet would drop the project.

I had seen the last version and all the flaws it had but I knew there was something there and I saw a way to make the film better and I offered my services to Robert and Rikard to completely reedit it and give it a more dramatic film structure to it. They happily accepted the invitation and the journey began. A new beginning, a new end, a few dropped scenes and some key character changing development made a final version in a higher class than before. Peter Possne, at Sonet Film was very pleased and agreed to distribute the film. The film was shown at the Gothenburg Film Festival and later released at the cinema and DVD and got raving reviews. Nik Schröder even got nominated for best male actor at the Swedish Guldbagge galan (a swedish oscar) and the film it self won the swedish tv channel SVT´s program Kulturnyheter´s own guldbagge price for best rookie production after getting 51 % of the swedish viewers votes.

PRODUCTION: SWEDEN CALLING / FITTJA CALLING
CEO of Sonet Film Peter Possne had read an article in the swedish newspaper SVD about a group of people living in Fittja (suburb of Stockholm) that gathered around a cafe to call home everyday to there relatives around the world. This cafe became a center point for many nationalities and created a positive atmosphere for the immigrants living in the area. He like the idea and hired the writer Johanna Nilsson to write a script about the story. After a second version I entered into the project and co wrote the script together with Johanna Nilsson.

Feature FIlm that was shoot in Trollhättan in the winter 2005/2006- Produced by Joakim Hansson and Directed by Anders Nilsson. The film won the Amnesty International film prize at the Berlin film festival in 2007. I was in charge of the post production operations that took place in Stockholm’s Sonet Film’s office. Dealing with the actors for the ADR work. Output copies for sound mixing, CGI work and the distribution chain.

PRODUCTION: ACTING FOR FILM WORKSHOP
Acting for film and filmmaking workshop for 9 third year students. Focusing on how to act on film and what the main focus is for the actor, comparing to stage acting. The workshop was set at the Film Institute in Stockholm. Short films and scenes from famous feature films was shot with the actors. I teamed up with the schools teacher Matthew Allen, the photographer Per Arne Svensson & electrician Ingmar Andersson. The students were involved and mentored by us in the following areas: Producing, scriptwriting, location scouting, setting the scene, camera movements, camera & film terminology, directing the actor, acting for the camera, editing, ADR and CGI work.

VÄSTERÅS,NEW YORK,THE ATLANTIC OCEAN 09 2004-09 2005

PRODUCTION: NEW YORK - VÄSTERÅS
This documentary was set in the middle of the Atlantic ocean. It all started with a Dr's dream to buy a 51 foot sailboat. Due to the high cost of this luxury, the U.S market was scanned for used boats and the Beneteau 51 foot, named Grace was found for a price not available in europe. The question was how to get it home. Ship it over or sail it over? After many days of planning, Dr Wisinger finally decided to sail the boat over him self. Of course he needed a crew to realize this idea and the journey began. Seven crew members with different backgrounds joined the team and I was luckily one of them. After only have
sailed two times before I was humbled to take on the task as the boats own documentary filmmaker. This film is about how a group works together to overcome the gigantic Atlantic ocean. We flew to New York were the vessel had his original home and organized our supplies to make a safe and enjoyable trip. What we didn’t know was that the boat was smaller than we all were used to and that the hard winds of the atlantic ocean was gong to hit us hard. You are only as big as the waves around you.

Litegrip is a professional film gear rental company and I work there to learn more about cameras,lighting,cranes and what the rental field was all about. I was assisting the head of camera rentals department, Mika Porkka. One thing that we did was building a small green screen studio for camera testing.

Sonet Film had just produced the feature film The Third Wave and had an agreement with mobile communication provider, 3 to get exclusive behind the scenes material exclusively shown for 3’s customers. I was in charge of the behind the scenes material and to edit and export small 30 -60 second films for 3´s 3g mobile network.

In Robert Mugabe’s Zimbabwe, total chaos was (and is even today) an everyday issue. With an oil price so high that cues were lining up kilometers in front of gas stations. The black market dollar exchange were 6 double worth of the official dollar exchange. Hope for a better future was rare to come across. One of the pitfalls of this corrupt country was the HIV epidemic. It was sad that 80 % of Zimbabwe´s population was HIV positive and the ever growing orphans of this fact was a terrible result.

I was assisting the location manager for finding and securing locations as well as assisting the production office with various duties as well as assisting the director Mikael Hoffström and the cinematographer Peter Mokrosinski with various tasks. I also got the opportunity to direct one scene with the actor Kjell Bergqvist in a second unit team.

As producer Joakim Hansson’s assistant I had the privilege to work with many different areas in the filmmaking process. After Joakim’s big success, Jägarna as a producer he was a very busy man with projects piling up. Zoula Pitsiava who is now a producer at Strix Drama and Marcus Björman, line producer at Fladen Film was also in the Sonet team at this point. In my time at Sonet film we produced four feature films and one novel film. We were also developing 5-10 projects for future productions. I was to read all of the scripts that came into the production company and write reports for potential Sonet film productions. I helped bring together film teams and write contracts as well as location scouting and casting actors. Setting up shooting schedules and dealing with potential product placement companies. Budget planning, HD to film conversions, researching and script development. Dealing with music reports to STIM and talking to the record labels for the rights. I was in charge in all of the contacts with the EU Media + program and my application for Sonet Film’s account for Media + Slate funding got accepted and 2 million SEK was appointed for the company. When the novel film Gåvan was not properly edited I reedited the film together with the director Matthew Allen. The feature film, Den Tredje Vågen was in preproduction and I produced and directed Sonet film’s and Inbetween Entertainment's showreel. A funny story on how product placement not should be used. With actor Johan Wahlström, known from the swedish TV4´s popular show, Parlamentet. The media bureau Mindshare and Toyoto was also involved in the project. Sonet Film was also a distribution company and I got an insight how the distribution chain looked like from the inside. I was also in contact and handled issues regarding film deliveries, product placement, post production, sound mixing, adr, music licensing and equipment rentals with companies like Nordisk Film Post Production, The Chimney Pot, SF, Film i Väst, SFI, Burning Heart Records, Cabillqvist, Inbetween Entertainment, Ljudligan, Ljudlabbet, Europa Sound- Gabor Paztor and Litegrip to name a few. After a year of learning the production craft from the ground level and up I decided to leave Sonet film and to freelance to get more on set experience.
