Jill Stuart - Mix Blush Compact (No. 06, Fresh Apricot

I really need to learn how to take good pictures of stuff that has mirror. I feel like this pictures did not do any justice. Jill Stuart's packaging is super adorable in person, but in picture the colours look dull to me.

Anyway, I got this Mix Blush compact in the colour no 06, Fresh Apricot. The blush came with retractable blush brush.

The brush is linked by a chain. There are clasp at both ends of the chain to detach the brush from the blush compact.

When I saw this at the store, i thought the brush will be a scratchy, low quality brush (like the brush that came with benefit's powder boxes). I was totally wrong. It's a legit soft goat hair brush. The brush is very dense but quite small. I feel like it's too small for a blush brush. I wanna try applying powder foundation with this brush, I think its density will help to buff in the foundation.

Again, like everything else, it's heavily scented. The blush contains 4 different blocks; pale pink, medium pink, hot pink, and peachy coral colours.

The colours balance each other out pretty perfectly. The peachy coral makes the pinks warmer. The finish of this blush is pretty amazing, super smooth and easily blended. I have to say that this feels kinda like MAC'e beauty powder (I'm a sucker for MAC beauty powders).

So to end this post, I will just say, I love this blush.

Have a great day everyone.

Jill Stuart - Jelly Eye Color N (No. 10, Vintage Decor)

Jelly Eye Color is somewhat like a cream or gel eyeshadow in the form of jelly. I'm not kidding, when you touch this it feels like touching Jell-O.

I got the colour No 10, which is Vintage Decor. And like all the other Jill Stuart Packaging, this is super cute. I love the "Murano Glass" inspired lid. It looks very nice, and the jar itself is made of a legit glass. The glass itself has some pattern around the rim that looks like a rope to me.

Jill Stuart Cosmetics' website claim that the product contains Pure Crystal Powder (which i'm not sure of what it is). The colour that i select is this really gorgeous dark brown. All of the jelly eye color has a ton of glitter or sparkle in it. When applied, it create a really nice dimension to the eyes.

Like every other Jill Stuart Makeup, this product is also heavily scented. The website said it is scented with fragrance of Crystal Floral Bouquet (Which again I am not sure what that means). I'm not too keen about the scent, but the product itself i think is pretty.

This product can be applied very sheer (like MAC big bounce eyeshadow, which doesn't seem to have that much colour pay off) or you can build it up. I have to say, this is way better than MAC big bounce eyeshadow. When applied sheer, MAC big bounce doesn't really do anything, but since this jelly eye color has a lot of sparkle, the glitter shine through. Also, when you build up the colour for MAC big bounce eyeshadow, it will just crease in no time. This did not crease until several hours, which i think is reasonable.

Anyway, that's all i can say for now. I will be posting one more item from Jill Stuart soon. So check that out ^^

Jill Stuart - Smooth Silk Powder Foundation

Jill Suart has the cutest makeup packaging ever!!!

To tell you the truth i don't have any expectation for this powder. I wasn't even bothered to look for the review before buying this. The packaging is super adorable and it has the initial "J" on the front. Well, my name starts with "J", so i thought it will be cute to carry this around in my purse.

It has 2 compartments. the top one is to keep the sponge and the bottom one is to put the powder and mirror. The powder and compact is sold separately. I'm not sure what color i'm using because the powder pan is glued to the compact.

All Jill Stuart's products that i bought are pretty heavily scented. I'm very bad at explaining scent though, but I think it smells somewhat like a sweet lotion.

The texture of the powder itself is as the name, very silky and smooth. It has medium to full coverage. Doesn't look cakey. I haven't really used this that much to give a full review though. But if you love cute packaging, you should check Jill Stuart's makeup.

I'll be posting 2 more products from Jill Stuart.. So check those out ^^

Tiny Chanel Haul

Well, while i was in Hong Kong, I stopped by a Chanel counter and they had just launched the newest collection (i'm not sure which collection it is).

So these are what i got

Yea, only 2 things. I got the nail colour in 557, Mimosa, which is a really pretty yellow with a slight iridescent. I do not have anything like this, nor have i ever found any OPI colour as awesome as this one. It is opaque in 2 coats, and the colour hue make it somewhat fresh and fun at the same time

Ya, I know this is not the best swatch, my nails really needed a good manicure at that time. The swatch above is done in one coat.

Chanel Vitalumiere Aqua in B20

I've been hearing a lot of people ramble and rave this foundation. I was in the verge of finishing my Laneige and MUFE HD foundations.

Any who, my first impression was that this foundation really looks like skin. It doesn't look heavy or anything. The texture is super smooth and the coverage is decent.

Again, I haven't had time to try this long enough to give a review. I just have to say, so far so good.

I will definitely do another foundation review once i have the time.

I hope this is helpful...

Giorgio Armani - Eyes to Kill Silk eyeshadow

Wow.. Just realized I haven't been posting anything for a long time. Sorry guys. i've been involved in a new project and been kinda busy.

Anyway, early this month, i went to Hong Kong and Guang Zhou for about 2 weeks for business purpose. But of course on every free time, i made an excuse to hunt for makeups that are not available in Singapore and Indonesia. So, first stop, Giorgio Armani Makeup.

I've seen temptalia's review about this products and she seems to really like them. So, I bought colour no 4 and 9.

The SA there explained that this is supposed to be a cream to powder eye colour. It can be used as a base or just applied alone without any powder eyeshadow.

Truly, this is one of the strangest cream shadows i have ever seen. On the pot, it looks very flaky, but then applied to the skin, all the colours merge together and create this nice texture that is really easy to blend.

I haven't really had any time to experiment with this yet though. So, i'm not sure about the staying power and the crease problem.

Giorgio Armani Eyes To Kill Silk Eyeshadow No.4

No 9 is a champagne colour. Kinda in the same family with Stilla-Kitten, MAC-Grand Enterance, and UD-Sin. Really great all over the lid colour for everyday use.

No 4 may seems a bit intimidating. but actually with a bit of the reddish brown, the colour looks somewhat taupe-y. It's a really pretty colour.

No.4 and No.9

That's all from me now. Hope this is helpful ^^
