BMW X7 concept

View BMW X7

When it comes to the possibility of BMW X7, we have heard all sorts of things. First, there are rumors that it will be produced and then retracted a rumor saying that the plans for the X7 has been canceled. Now, it has turned into a game of tennis with a plan to switch back to the production side again. That's right, this SUV back on track, but that's only because the Chinese market asked.
This may seem like it came out of nowhere, and have. Wall Street Journal recently published an article about the summit of the world's largest economies in Seoul. The main topic of this summit is a "global rebalancing," but in the midst of all the crap are a few paragraphs that lead us to believe that BMW is no rethink its decision to pull out BMW X7.

"The company is also counting on the U.S. to rebound more quickly than doom-and-gloomers think, making rebalancing less necessary than the leaders gathered in Seoul believe. It is even reconsidering its decision to cancel a new large SUV, which was meant mainly for U.S. buyers."

Exterior and Interior BMW X7

Being an X model, we expect to see the usual BMW SUV design language. However, since the X7 is a large luxury SUV, expect an exterior inspired mostly by the X6. The SUV’s front will be defined by the company’s usual kidney grille, a front bumper with large air intake, and integrated front bumpers.
The X7 will offer one of the most luxury interiors for a BMW SUV, same as the 7-Series limousine: high quality leather, wood insertions, and lots of new technologies.

The Engine BMW X7

For the engine line-up, BMW will borrow the engine used in the X6: a 4.4 V8 engine with 400 hp and 450lb.-ft torque and a 3.0 inline six-cylinder engine that delivers 300 hp and 300 lb.-ft torque. An M version will use the company’s latest 4.4-liter V8 engine that delivers 555 hp at 6,000 rpm and 500 lb-ft of torque from 1500 to 5,650 rpm. The sprint from 0 to 60 mph will be made in around 5 seconds, while top speed will remain electronically limited to 155 mph.
