Looking at Martinšćica on the island of Cres and the surrounding area where Campsite Slatina is located, it seems that all of the beautiful sights of the island are concentrated in this green area – a Mediterranean forest, two bays and one of the most beautiful beaches on Cres island. 190 bird species and 1200 plant species can be found on the island of Cres. The cascading terrain with plots provides a view of the sea and beautiful sights from each camping plot.

During the season when the average temperature is 24°C, you can find refreshment in the crystal clear Adriatic Sea, engage in various water sports within the camp, or simply relax and enjoy yourself. There are many options for excursions and visits to numerous landmarks near the campsite, such as visits to the nearby villages and towns of Valun, Lubenice and Cres.

Top camping for a top holiday, with or without a pet

Campsite Slatina has been listed by the Croatian Camping Union as one of Croatia's Best Campsites since 2010 and has also been listed in TOP CAMPING of Croatia. Slatina is also known for its innovative service ‘Camping cum cane’, which has also received an ADAC camping award for providing maximum comfort to dog owners, their dogs and guests without dogs. In addition to all the benefits of the project ‘Camping cum cane®‘, the campsite will provide a free dog trainer at an off-leash area. This area is equipped with dog agility equipment (parkour).

In addition to its predominantly rocky beaches, Campsite Slatina has two wonderful pebble beaches, Tiha and Slatina, and some smaller isolated pebble beaches with separate dedicated areas for naturists and for dogs and their owners. We should also mention that Slatina is known as one of the most beautiful beaches on the island of Cres.


















A wide range of camping activities

Learn how to dive and explore the sea depths of the islands of Cres and Lošinj in the camp’s scuba diving school. The scuba diving school and rent-a-boat service in Martinšćica provide plenty of opportunities for water activities, but there are many other ways to have fun in the sea whilst staying at the camp. Boat owners can take advantage of camp Slatina’s berths and slip together with a crane for larger boats available for use in nearby Martinšćica. 

The children’s playground is a place where young campers can meet and have fun. Mini golf, table tennis, beach volley and archery are available to both children and adults.

Campsite Slatina is in great demand amongst not only camping enthusiasts, but also amongst those looking for a quiet corner, wonderful sea and beautiful landscapes.
