#39 Fuensaldaña Castle
Vallidolid, Spain
1570
This is NOT an official Lego site

Fuensaldaña was built in the mid-fifteenth century by Don Alfonso Pérez de Vivero, the treasurer of King John II of Castile. The castle commands the plain of Valladolid in north central Spain. Its tower is typical of Spanish castles of the period and is reached only by an isolated stairway and retractable drawbridge. The castle has been completely restored, but is unfortunately not open to the public except groups by appointment.
