A selection of our clients and work:
Through a digital agency, Telamenta, we built a Microsoft Windows Mobile application for Munsoft. The app is used by staff working for South African municipalities and the data back-end is provided for by a Drupal CMS.
Workers and the public can also report faults, other problems or notables including geo-location and photo data for upstream attention with Munsoft's Fieldworker app and CMS.
For a digital agency in Dubai we built the Social Media Wall. Used at several conferences and concerts it allows for live social media interaction with huge screens.
Since this was the UAE, we added a very fast live streaming moderation system that was also able to inject Tweets and Facebook posts by famous people.
Our Social Media Wall can also be installed more permanently at points of interest such as at Cape Point in the Table Mountain National Park.
For the South African Local Government Association we upgraded two very large Drupal 6 websites to Drupal 7.
We developed live migration scripts so that the new websites were able to take over from the previous ones with but an hour's down time at midnight one weekend with all the user contributions perfectly up to date.
The websites were also under heavy spam attack when we inherited them. We managed to clean up existing spam and implemented fail2ban tied in with honey pots and hidden CAPTHCAs as well as block lists which completely blocks all spam now.
Websites can outgrow initial developers' ability to maintain them and we regularly inherit websites that need immediate attention.
My Cyberwall is a site-service full curriculum to schools allowing them to replace their regular learning material completely with an this online service.
Having had several large development companies in South Africa as it's previous custodians, we inherited it when it was in a state where it had several hours of down time each day with children from many schools not able to make use of it.
Within a month the down time was solved and we continue to redevelop part of the website as needed to enhance performance, add features and bring it up to standards compliance.
