• V - up to 149 mph
• W - up to 168 mph
• Y - up to 186 mph
• Z - over 149 mph

Tyre speed ratings should not be confused with load rating – this tells the driver the maximum weight the tyre can safely carry.

What happens if you go faster than the speed rating?
