The Bergen Institute for the Arts and the BCC Theatre Program proudly present the 2024 Director’s Lab Ten-Minute One-Act Play Festival. Please join us for this year’s festival featuring 12 ten-minute one-act plays directed by 12 of our student directors.  Support our students in a night that will have something for everyone.  Performances are in the Ender Hall Lab Theatre. Program A – Thurs., April 25th at 7:30 PM & Sat., April 27th at 2:00 PM. Program B – Friday, April 26th at 7:30 PM and Saturday, April 27th at 7:30 PM.

Admission is free!

Spend an evening jamming out to some of the influential artists of Rock and Pop music as Bergen Community College Pop-Rock Ensemble and the BCC Chorus students take you on a journey through the music of the late 50’s to the mid 70’s.

Join the exploits of a band of mismatched cartoon stereotypes on a wild ride through an animated world. Presented in the style of a Commedia dell’Arte scenario gone berserk, Cartoon is a devilishly violent social commentary that explores the rapid coalescence of media, politics and consumer giants. A young, idealistic upstart named Trouble steals the giant hammer that Esther, the bratty dictator, uses to maintain a monotonous but peaceful order. Chaos ensues. Bombs explode. Puppets are set free. Anime girls fight. And as the bodies pile up, the violence begins to creep off the stage. There’s nothing like a punch in the face to really get the blood moving. (Rated PG13)
