About Altitude 2

Altitude 2 is a complementary service providing 70+ overflow games annually whereby two LIVE games covered by Altitude are scheduled at the same time. Altitude 2 can be offered as a full-time channel or games can be inserted on another channel, depending on your provider. Altitude 2 programming includes our Avalanche, Nuggets, Rapids, and Mammoth pro product, plus high school and college football, basketball, hockey, soccer, lacrosse, volleyball games and more. Depending on your service provider and location, Altitude 2 programming may be delivered to you in different ways.

In Colorado, Wyoming, Nebraska, Kansas, New Mexico, and some areas of Idaho:

• Altitude 2 is available as a full-time service through DirecTV (channel 681-1) and many cable television service providers (use the Channel Finder to check availability in your area). Some cable providers chose to not carry any Altitude 2 programming at their discretion.
• When no Altitude 2 programming is scheduled, Altitude 2 will simulcast the programming on Altitude.

In Montana, Utah, Nevada, and non-Nuggets areas of Idaho:

• Altitude 2 programming is not available in these areas as a full-time service or on another channel.
• Because Altitude is prohibited by the NBA to deliver Nuggets game to these areas due to territorial restrictions, when Nuggets games are on these areas Altitude service will automatically be replaced by Altitude 2 programming.
