Baby tips for new parents - "Before baby comes."

  1. You don't need to purchase new furniture or lots of furniture.  Wait until the baby comes and then buy as you require it.
  2. Think about purchasing second-hand toys and clothes.  Many bargains can be found which are near new and at far reduced prices.
  3. Due dates mean very little.  Something like 5% of babies come on their due dates. This is your first lesson about 'not being in control' when a baby comes along.
  4. Some activities like going on a fantastic holiday or seeing some movies can be difficult when your baby comes along.  Indulge yourself beforehand while you can.
  5. Learn a good lifting technique.  A squirming baby is harder to lift than a toddler with control.
