Founder David Swanson started All American Dave's in 2008 after struggling with gaining weight following a major knee surgery after tearing his ACL twice in just over 2 years.  Hitting a point in his life when he was at his highest weight and struggling mentally he knew he needed to make a lifestyle change. He believed that by eating right, with high-quality food products, portioned to fuel him, he could achieve goals in fitness previously unattainable. He started working out at a level he didn't know was possible, in just a few weeks time he was a whole new person.

 This personal transformation allowed him to grow meaningful relationships with a group of professional poker players. Training and providing them meal plans that fueled their own success. The program worked as well for them as it did for him. Together they introduced the AAD Food Truck to the World Series of Poker. Over the past 10 years, the fit food truck has been serving meals to thousands of professional and amateur Poker Players giving them the energy to win.
