AGRONOVAis a swedish-based firm with extensive experiences in: (1) Tropical land degradation analysis, (2) Watershed management, (3) Soil and Water Conservation, and (4) Non-Timber Forest Products (see also distillation and processing).
Since more than two decades, AGRONOVA has co-operated with international, regional, and local agencies throughout the tropics. The firm takes pride to find appropriate solutions in partnership with targeted resource managers and public institutes.
The drama of land degradation is a complicated multi-client affair producing environmental impacts at many temporal and spatial scales. AGRONOVA strives to bring forward facts and multiple views from interest groups and public officials in each unique case, rather than using the commonly observed 'consultancy template' approach.
The philosophy is to empower the affected resource managers as to improve their preparedness to identify appropriate means and policies to e.g. rehabilitate deteriorated physiographical links between headwater areas and lowlands within a defined river basin - in partnership with public affiliates.
